Offsite

Offsite

We are leading exponents of the principles of DfMA (or Design for Manufacture and Assembly) and seek to act on behalf of our clients to find the most efficient way to deliver their building services projects.

We work with clients to gain a clear understanding of their end product – the brief, site, constraints and key drivers – and use virtual modelling to outline where offsite solutions would be most beneficial and build this into their project strategy and planning. A concept modelling service can be provided to illustrate offsite potential and installation methodology.

By using modular solutions to identify where components can be manufactured or built offsite, we help our clients to deliver projects more quickly, safely and sustainably.

Design for Manufacture and Assembly

We are leading exponents of the principles of DfMA (Design for Manufacture and Assembly) and seek to act on behalf of our clients to find the most efficient way to deliver their building services projects.

From simple pipe spools to complex multi service modules or bespoke package plantrooms, we work with clients to gain a clear understanding of their end product – the brief, site, constraints and key drivers – and use virtual modelling to outline where offsite solutions would be most beneficial and build this into their project strategy and planning.

Structural Framing

When designing offsite solutions, structural framing is required to support the services during assembly, transportation and installation. As part of our offsite process, we design and model basic structural elements for spatial fit before handing over to our structural specialists for final design.

We collaborate with some of the best structural engineering teams in the UK who provide final detailed design models which are utilised in the main BIM model. To accompany each element of structural framework, relevant calculations and analysis are provided for client approval and sign off.
